Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for selektiv fjerning av vann, C02, etan og C3+-hydrokarboner fra gass- strømmer, spesielt en naturgasstrøm omfattende primært metan. Prosessen omfatter å bringe gasstrømmen i kontakt med et adsorbentmateriale omfattende eksklusivt en eller flere forbindelser som er basiske (dvs. forbindelser som, når de blir bragt i kontakt med en pH-nøytral vandig oppløsning, forårsaker at en slik oppløsning har en pH høyere enn 7,0) og som er mesoporøs (dvs. forbindelser som har moderate små porer for å gi et overflateareale lavere enn 500 m /g).
