Abstract

Det er beskrevet en elektrostatisk høyttaler der membraner og statorer har ladninger av samme polaritet. Det er dermed mulig for store krefter å arbeide i høyttaleren uten risiko for overslag mellom stator og membran. Høyttaleren har to membraner (19, 20), hver har en tilsvarende stator (2, 9) formet som et gitter eller liknende laget av et elektrisk ledende materiale. De to membranene er parallelle med hverandre og føyd sammen ved et fast, hardt eller stivt materiale (6). Membranene (19, 20) og statorer (2, 9) av et par har alltid samme potensiale og frastøter hverandre med ei kraft som varierer når potensialet varierer.
