Abstract

Dersom abonnenten aksepterer anropet, digitaliserer plattformen talen til anroperen og sender den til datamaskinen hvor den mates ut til abonnenten. Samtidig digitaliserer datamaskinen talen til abonnenten og sender den til plattformen hvor den mates ut til anroperen. Systemet kan tillate abonnenten å lytte på anroperen når en melding blir opptegnet. Nettverksesjonen kan fortsette i løpet av overføringen av talen eller gjenopptas etter at anropet er ferdig, dvs. sesjonen må ikke bli avsluttet for å frigjøre telefonlinjen for å utføre anropet.
