Abstract
En dypvanns-stigerørsammenstilling innbefatter en nedre BOP- (boresikringsventil) stabel (34) plassert tilstøtende og forankret til bunnen (20) av sjøen og en øvre BOP-stabel (40) festet til stigerøret ved et vannivå tilstrekkelig dypt under overflaten for å være upåvirket av overflatestrømmer.
