Abstract

Ved anvendelse av en fremgangsmåte til behandling av signaler i et sikkerhetssystem, blir det på signalene ut- ført operasjoner som er komplementære med hverandre, idet det avhenger av resultatene av samme hvorvidt operasjonene kan fortsettes. Foruten logiske operasjoner på inn- gangsvariabler, utføres det også komplementære operasjoner i anordningen (1) for utførelse av fremgangsmåten ved hjelp av midler som kontrolleres/styres av tilstandsmaskiner. Som et resultat av dette oppnås det en korthus-lignende kon- struksjon, i hvilken en ønsket omkopling finner sted i til- felle ett ledd mangler. Anordningen har således fått en iboende sikkerhet.
