Abstract

Oppfinnelsen angår en fremgangsmåte for å teste funksjonen av en radiomottakerenhet (l) under normal trafikk, hvor mottakerenheten (1) omfatter minst to mottakere (2, 3) for diversitets-mottaking, og minst to antenneanordninger (5) for å tillate mottaker- enheten å motta signaler utsendt av en radiosender (6). For at en feilfunksjon i en mottakerenhet skal kunne detekteres enklere og hurtigere enn tidligere, omfatter fremgangsmåten ifølge oppfinnelsen måling av signalnivået for signalene som mottas av hver mottaker (2, 3), beregning av en gjennomsnittsverdi på grunnlag av de utførte målingene, og indikering av en feil når forskjellen mellom de beregnede gjennomsnittsverdiene for de forskjellige mottakerne (2, 3) er større enn en forut bestemt referanse- verdi. Oppfinnelsen angår også en mottakerenhet som fremgangsmåten ifølge oppfinnelsen kan utføres med.
