Abstract

En anordning ved et transportmiddel, til sammenstilling, klargjøring og transport til oppskytingsstedet av en rakett, hvor raketten består av flere moduler (2, 3, 4) og en nyttelast (5) som skal bringes ut til verdensrommet, har egnede fasiliteter for sammenstilling, klargjøring og transport av raketten med rakettens hovedakse forløpende horisontalt. Transportmiddelet, som kan være et skip (1), har et kontrollrom (8) for styring og overvåking av sammenstillingen, klargjøringen og oppskyting av raketten fra en flytende konstruksjon (20). De nevnte fasiliteter kan være et overbygd dekk (6), utstyrt med monteringsverksted, med tilhørende utstyr for ferdigstilling av den rakett som skal oppskytes.
