Dyse, fortrinnsvis for brannslukkingsformål, omfattende en indre (2) og en ytre (3) rørformet del som kan dreies og forskyves i lengderetningen i forhold til hverandre, hvor den ene av delene (2,3) har et eller flere spiralspor (19) for inngrep med motsvarende inngrepsorganer (15) på den andre delen (2,3), hvor dysen er anordnet for å kunne omstilles mellom jetstrålestilling og tåkestilling ved at den indre (2) og ytre del (3) dreies i forhold til hverandre og delene derved forskyves i lengderetningen i forhold til hverandre ved inngrepet mellom spiralsporet (19) og inngrepsorganet (15), som er kjennetegnet ved at to eller flere inngrepsorgan (15) er anordnet for å presses i inngrep med ett eller flere spiralspor (19) når det sprøytes fluid gjennom dysen samt å gå ut av inngrep når fluidtrykket i dysen faller under et på forhånd definert nivå.
