Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for bleking av sulfat- masse uten anvendelse av klorholdige ble- kemidler. Sulfatmassen gjennomgår oksygen- delignifisering og kan eventuelt også ozon-delignifiseres til et kappatall under 9,5. Deretter gjennomføres en forbehand- ling med kompleksdannende middel i 1-60 minutter, og ved denne forbehandling er massekonsistensen 1-15%, temperaturen 70- 110'C og pH-verdien 5-7. Den på denne måte forbehandlede masse vaskes og awannes til en konsistens på 18-40%. Deretter finner peroksydbleking i alkalisk miljø sted i nærvær av silikat eller et organisk kom- pleksdannende middel av typen fosfonsyre eller karboksylsyre.
