Abstract

Et hode-spororienteringssystem til bruk i magnetbånddrev korrigerer automatisk for feiljustering mellom hodemontasjen og en registrert servospor på båndet. Med bruk av en servokontrollsløyfe beregner systemet hode-sporjusteringsfeil under driften av bånddrevet og dreier enten hodemontasjen eller juste- rer båndkassetten for å kompensere for feilen. Meka- nismer for rverrposjsjonering av hode-spor er også innbefattet i systemet for å finne og opprettholde en sentrert posisjon av hodene på servosporet.
