Kunststoff-formmasse som inneholder 0,3 til 3 vekt-£ karbon-fibre med en fiberlengde fra 0,5 til 18 mm, lar seg bearbeide til formdeler med en farget avstembar dekoreffekt. Disse formdelene finner særlig anvendelse i indre rom i kjøretøy, egner seg imidlertid også til andre anvendelsesformål som f.eks. husholdnings-apparatur, hagemøbler eller kontorutstyr.
