Abstract

Anordningen kan anvendes som en hastighetsgyro eller som et gyroskop. Den omfatter en resonator som har fire Innbyrdes parallelle. Identiske bjelker (12a, 12b, 12c og 12d) som er i ett med en felles, kvadratisk base (10) og rager ut fra nevnte basis ved hjørner av et virtuelt kvadrat. Dessuten har anordningen første transdusere (18ab, ISba) for å vibrere hver bjelke i en ferste retning som er ortogonal med bjelkene, koblet til en drivkrets (21), og andre transdusere (IScd, ISdc) for å detektere en vibrasjonsamplitude hos bjelkene i en andre retning som hver er ortogonal på en respektiv ferste retning.
