Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for forbedring av bevegelsesbedømmelsen i bevegede bildesekvenser ved halv-pel-nøyaktighet. For bestemmelse av bevegelsesvektoren blir generelt anvendt fasekorrelasjonsmetoder eller letemetoder. Fremgangsmåten ifølge foreliggende oppfinnelse skal bevirke en forbedring i bevegelsesbedømmelsen i bevegede blldesekvenser. L'nder anvendelse av et ytterligere filter, som bevirker en rasterforskyvning av orlginalrasteren, filtreres i et første metodetrinn l leteområdet og et andre metodetrinn tilpasset blokken. Til slutt finner det sted den egentlige tilpasningsprosessen på vanlig måte. Fremgangsmåten kan spesielt anvendes ved koding av bildesekvenser for bildeoverføring av HDTV til bildetelefonsamtalerinnenfor interaktive multimedia- områder eller også for en kvalitativt høyverdig normomforming for bevegede bildescener.
