Abstract
Framgangsmåte for foredling av overflata av en gjenstand, hvorved denne belegges med et dekke av minst en smekbar bestanddel og bindemiddel, og deretter varmet i vakuum eller i en inert atmosfære, hvorved dekket omdannes i et porøst dekksjikt med ytre skorpe. Deretter heves temperaturen inntil de smeltbare bestanddelene i dekksjiktet er fordampet. På den ene siden tetter de smeltbare bestanddelene den ytre siden av dekksjiktet, og på den andre siden etablerer de smeltbare bestanddelene den foredlete overflata av gjenstanden. Etter avkjøling av gjenstanden, blir restene av dekksjiktet fjernet. Gjenstanden er forsynt med ei bestandig overflate.
