Abstract

Apparat for analysering av fiberstørrelsesfordeling og partikkelantall, hvorved ei tilhørende målecelle (22) som omfatter et hus (76), hvorved sistnevnte frigjorbart bærer et transparent strømningsrør (82) og en optisk anordning (26) som retler en stråle (124) på tvers av røret for å detektere og måle individuelle fibre i en fortynnet væskeprøve som strømmer gjennom røret med konstant hastighet. Røret omfatter en gradvis avsmalnet overgangsdel (86) som munner ut i en måledel (88) anbrakt ved den optiske anordningen og med en stromningsdiameter fra 1.0 til 3.0 mm, hvorved fibrene i en utførelsesform orienteres koaksialt med væskeprøvens strømningsretning, for på denne måten å øke apparatets følsomhet og redusere faren for tilstopping.
