I en anordning for innstilling av styreorganet (1) for en strømningsregulerende ventil (2), tilføres den målte trykkforskjell Ap over ventilen og en innstilt mengdestrøm- verdi Qs til en funksjonsenhet (5) som er innrettet for å beregne en verdi Cvs = /Zp7'QsAZp, hvor Apo er det nominelle faste trykkfall over ventilen, benyttet for å fastlegge ventilens karakteristiske Cv-kurve som funksjon av forskjel- lige stillinger av ventillegemet, idet nevnte verdi Cvs tilføres en annen funksjonsenhet (7) som i samsvar med nevnte karakteritsike kurve omsetter den til en innstillingsverdi for nevnte ventillegeme, og som ventilstyreorganet innstilles med.
