Abstract

Hydrosyklonseparator for å separere væsker av forskjel-lig densitet, såsom olje og vann. Separatoren har et aksialt langstrakt kammer (1), et tilførselsinnløp (21) for innføring av væske i kammeret med høy hastighet i en tangential retning slik at væsken roterer om kammerets akse, et overstrømsutløp (23) for å fjerne væsken med mindre densitet fra kammeret, og et understrømsutløp (14) for fjerning av væsken med større tetthet fra kammeret. Et turbulensskjold (18) er plassert mellom tilførselsinnløpet (21) og det aksialt anordnede utløp (23) for å isolere overstrømsutløpet fra effektene av den turbulens som dannes av væsken som strømmer inn i kammeret.
