Abstract

The discharger armature, which is used especially for shower bottoms, consists of a housing (7) provided with an inflow opening, a discharge socket (22) and a fastening flange (6) and of an immersion pipe (15) inserted into the housing and delimiting the inflow opening. The housing (7) contains an outer annular channel (19) and an upper discharge channel (21). The fastening flange (6) of the housing, which is fixed to the edge of a base opening (2) in the shower bottom, is arranged offset downwards with respect to the upper housing wall (13), which delimits the upper discharge channel (21). The bottom (20) of the outer annular channel (19) is inclined towards the discharge socket (22). As a result of this inclination of the bottom of the outer annular channel, in the case of a large flow cross-section of the annular channel, on the one hand, the discharging capacity is improved and, on the other hand, self-cleaning of the discharger armature is achieved. The discharger armature has a low overall height and a high throughput capacity. <IMAGE>
