Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for interconnecting plate profiles with wooden rods or boards which are inserted across the longitudinal direction of the plate profiles into holes punched in them.
The invention's primary task is to enable picket modules consisting of horizontal bulkheads made up of the plate profiles and vertical boards. In order to use the method in the production of picket modules, if possible, several requirements must be met. Firstly, the procedure must be economical. Furthermore, the connections must be strong to withstand the stresses that arise, e.g. when children or adults lean on and climb the fence and the own weight and snow load must not cause the fence to buckle over time. It is also desirable that, if necessary, the picket fence should be able to be tilted somewhat to adapt to any slope of the ground. Ideally, this adaptation should be possible during assembly, but one can of course also think of making the picket modules angled to a corresponding degree in the event of a steeper slope. Nor must weather and wind result in the fence breaking.
According to the invention, the above tasks are solved by the plate profile or profiles being pressed together against the tables after these have been inserted into holes in the plate profiles and after the tables and plate profiles have been arranged in the necessary angles and positions, so that permanent deformation of the plate profile is achieved, as the boards, after the pressing force has been removed, spring back elastically, so that the profile and wood have a mutual pretension that connects them to each other.
I en videreutvikling av oppfinnelsestanken somIn a further development of the idea of invention which
På denne måte kommer ved plateprofilens sammenpressing deformasjonen til å skje i V-delens spiss, slik at profilen også etter den deformerende sammenpressingen har et likeformet utseende. is very suitable for picket fences, the plate profile can have a cross-section with a contour similar to a house with a gable roof, i.e. with two more or less vertical side flanges and a V-shaped central part with the tip directed upwards. In this way, when the plate profile is compressed, the deformation takes place at the tip of the V part, so that the profile also has a uniform appearance after the deforming compression.
In order to further strengthen the connection force against displacement of the boards in non-respective holes, it may be appropriate that the edges of the holes are slightly folded in, so that during the compression these are pressed into the wood with a greater or lesser local deformation of the wood as a result. It is then not necessary that the edge that engages in the wood is straight, but you can imagine one or more small tags or tabs that stick into the hole and provide the desired extra grip. In particular, if you want a fence that can be tilted somewhat during its final assembly, it may be appropriate to let the part of the hole edges that engages into the wood only be made up of a single shorter piece at the middle part of the hole, so that the inserted boards are exposed to a medium resisting moment when the fence module is shifted to adapt to the slope of the ground.
Within the framework of the invention, one can of course also imagine the above-mentioned profile duplicated, i.e. with a similar "house profile" facing downwards and directly connected to the upper one. the profile if not e.g. the lower holes in the profile are made larger than what is required for the boards to be inserted.
Since the height of the profile, or perhaps rather the height of the side flanges, has no major impact on how well the grip between wood and plate profile is, the flange height can be allowed to be determined exclusively by the strength property in the vertical direction (it is in this direction that the fence risks be exposed to the greatest stresses when climbing etc), while the cross dimensions of the fence can be kept limited.
In the following, the invention will be described in more detail with reference to a practical embodiment of the invention shown in the drawing.
Fig. 1 viser i perspektiv en del av et stakitt ifølge oppfinnelsen , Fig. 1 shows in perspective part of a picket fence according to the invention,
fig. 2 viser forbindelsen ifølge oppfinnelsen i snitt. fig. 2 shows the compound according to the invention in section.
fig. 3 og fig. 4 viser ytterligere detaljer i det i fig. 1 viste stakitt. fig. 3 and fig. 4 shows further details in that in fig. 1 showed picket fence.
That in fig. The fence shown in 1 comprises a horizontally lying plate profile 1 of which only a short section is shown. A wooden rod 2 has been pressed into the plate profile by the plate profile being clamped around the wooden rod. This is shown more clearly in fig. 2, where you can see how the sheet profiles 1 have folded further at the angle tip 3 during the compression, so that the tabs or edges 4 or edges 4 located on both sides of the table or wooden stick 2 5 for the hole in the plate profile has been pressed into the wood.
In the profile parts 6 and 7, recesses have been made so that V-shaped bent elements 8 can be inserted, which are connected in the longitudinal direction by means of recesses 9 and 10 that grip the post profiles 6 and 7. When the side fence is to be assembled, the profile 1 is laid completely simply on the V-shaped element 8 and is connected against lifting by a sleeve 11, which before assembly has been pushed onto the plate profile 1, is pushed to rest against the post, in which position it can be connected in any desired way, e.g. using some form of snap lock. In order to hold together the post produced by the profiles 6 and 7, it can be at the upper end
anordnet et lokk som griper over utspring 12 resp.13 i profilenes øvre ender. 4 viste art. Naturligvis kan man i stedet for forankringsdelen 15 støpe fast stolpen i betong på kjent måte, men dette er i alminnelighet en dyrere metode på grunn av at den er mere tidkrevende. provided with a lid that grips over protrusions 12 or 13 at the upper ends of the profiles. The lid can either be buttoned on or snapped over the protrusions 12,13, alternatively the lid 14 can be mounted on the one in fig. 3, i.e. the protrusions 12, 13 are bent in, after which the post parts 6 and 7 are brought together for the side to be lowered, e.g. in a ground anchorage 15 of the one in fig. 4 showed art. Naturally, instead of the anchoring part 15, the post can be cast in concrete in a known manner, but this is generally a more expensive method because it is more time-consuming.
