Abstract
En fremgangsmåte for å påvise nærværet av et overført signal i en trådløs spektrumskanal er beskrevet. Frekvensen av et signal er konvertert fra en første frekvens til en andre frekvens. Signalet med den andre frekvens filtreres for å fjerne signaler som ikke er innenfor båndet av den andre frekvens. Et gjennomsnittlig periodogram av signalet blir beregnet. En verdi av det gjennomsnittlige periodogram blir sammenlignet med en terskel. Nærværet av det overførte signal blir påvist hvis verdien av det gjennomsnittlige periodogram overskrider terskelen.
