Abstract
Un método para detectar la presencia de una señal de transmisión en un canal de espectro inalámbrico. La frecuencia de una señal es convertida desde una primera frecuencia a una segunda frecuencia. La señal con la segunda frecuencia es filtrada para eliminar señales que no están dentro de la banda de la segunda frecuencia. Se calcula un periodograma promediado de la señal. Se compara a un umbral el valor del periodograma promediado. Se detecta la presencia de la señal de transmisión, si el valor del periodograma promediado excede el umbral.
