Abstract

Den foreliggende oppfinnelsen tilveiebringer nye hurnane proteinantigener og beslektede antistoffer som er blitt identifisert som å bli spesifikt uttrykt i assosiasjon med humant duktalt adenokarsinom (PDA). Særlig har nye fosforylerte isoformer av alfaenolase blitt identifisert i transformerte cellelinjer av pankreatisk opprinnelse og antistoffer som binder slike isoformer er spesifikt til stede i sera fra PDA-pasienter. Disse proteinene og antistoffene kan være nyttige for diagnose og behandling av PDA og andre kreftformer som har felles molekylære trekk.
