Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for bruk av parallelle mediastrømmer i et telekommunikasjonssystem. Et kontrollerende nettverkselement involveres for signalering mellom en første brukers primærbrukerutstyr og et primærbrukerutstyr hos minst en andre bruker og detekte rer kapabiliteten til den andre brukerens primærbrukerutstyr med hensyn til opprettholdelse av to parallelle mediastrømmer. Dersom kapabiliteten ikke eksisterer i priliminærbrukerutstyret hos den andre brukeren, vil nettverkselementet endre signalene slik at kapabiliteten til primærbrukerutstyret hos den andre brukeren med hensyn til opprettholdelse av to parallelle mediastrømmer indikeres. En første mediastrøm kan åpnes mellom den første brukers primærbrukerutstyr og den andre brukers primærbrukerutstyr og en andre parallell mediastrøm avledes til et sekundærbrukerutstyr hos den andre brukeren.
