Abstract
Den inneværende oppfinnelse er en metode for å påvise en avvikende hendelse for prosessenheter i en forsinket forkoksingsenhet (Delayed Coking Unit - DCU). Metoden sammenligner drift av prosessenhetene med statistiske og tekniske modeller. De statistiske modeller utvikles ved vesentlig komponent-analyse av normal drift for disse enheter. De tekniske modellene er baserte på statistisk analyse og korrelasjonsanalyse mellom variable. Hvis forskjellen mellom en prosessenhets drift og det normale modellresultat indikerer en avvikende tilstand, så fastsettes årsaken til den avvikende tilstand og denne tilstand korrigeres.
