Abstract

En fremgangsmåte er beskrevet for å prosessere bilder under en konferanse mellom et flertall av videokonferanseterminaler. Fremgangsmåten omfatter å tilveiebringe et første bilde fra et første kamera ved den første videokonferanseterminal; å tilveiebringe et andre bilde fra et andre kamera ved en andre videokonferanseterminal; og å tilveiebringe et tredje bilde fra et tredje kamera ved den tredje videokonferanseterminal. Videre omfatter fremgangsmåten å generere et første sammensatt bilde, innbefattende å innsette nevnte tredje bilde ved den første posisjon i nevnte andre bilde; og å generere et andre sammensatt bilde, innbefattende å innsette nevnte tredje bilde ved den andre posisjon i nevnte første bilde. De første og andre posisjoner befinner seg i horisontalt motstående deler av henholdsvis de første og andre sammensatte bilde. Videre levere de første og andre sammensatte bilder for å fremvises på et display for henholdsvis de første og andre videokonferanseterminalene. Fremgangsmåten forbedrer telenærværsopplevelsen når en regulær videokonferanseterminal forbindes til konferansen.
