Abstract

Brannmasse av metallisk brennstoff fra gruppe IVB i det periodiske system (Zr, Ti, Hf) og av et organisk bindemiddel, særlig mikroniserte hardplaster. Den inneholder et metallpulver med en gjennomsnittlig kornstørrelse på 50 - 250 µm, et halogenfritt bindemiddel, idet andelen halogenfritt bindemiddel er under 1 masseprosent. Fikseringen av brannmassen i prosjektilet eller sprenghodet skjer ved sammenpressing og etterfølgende varmebehandling for å aktivere permanentplast-fornettingen henholdsvis smelte det termoplastiske bindemidlet.
