Abstract
En fremgangsmåte for å danne et komposittmateriale (f.eks. en blandet elektrode) ved infiltrering av en porøs struktur (f.eks. en porøs struktur dannet fra et ionisk ledende materiale) med en oppløsning av en forløper (f.eks. for et elektronisk ledende materiale), resulterer i et partikkelformet lag på og inne i den porøse struktur med en eneste infiltrering. Fremgangsmåten involverer dannelse av en oppløsning omfattende minst ett metallsalt og en surfaktant; oppvarming av oppløsningen for i vesentlig grad å avdampe løsningsmiddel og danne en konsentrert salt- og surfaktantoppløsning; infiltrering av den konsentrerte oppløsning inn i en porøs struktur for å skape et komposittmateriale; og oppvarming av komposittmaterialet for i vesentlig grad å spalte saltet og surfaktanten til oksid- og/eller metallpartikler. Resultatet er et partikkelformet lag på poreveggene av den porøse struktur. I noen instanser er det partikkelformede lag et kontinuerlig nettverk. Korresponderende innretninger har forbedrede egenskaper og ytelse.
