Abstract
Fluider viskositetsøkt med viskoelastiske surfaktanter (VES-er) kan ha deres viskositeter påvirket (økt eller redusert), f.eks. gelbrutt (ved indirekte eller direkte virkning av en sammensetning som inneholder minst én fettsyre som har blitt påvirket, modifisert eller reagert med en alkalimetallbase, en jordalkalimetallbase, ammoniumbase og/eller organisk baseforbindelse, eventuelt med et alkalimetallhalidsalt, et jordalkalimetallhalidsalt og/eller et ammoniumhalidsalt. Sammensetningen som inneholder det resulterende forsåpede produktet antas enten å virke som en kosurfaktant med VES i seg selv for å øke viskositeten og/eller muligens ved disaggregering eller på annen måte påvirkning av micellestrukturen til det VES gelerte fluidet. I et spesifikt ikke-begrensende tilfelle kan et saltvannsfluid gelert med en aminoksidsurfaktant ha viskositeten brutt ned med en sammensetning som inneholder naturlig forekommende fettsyrer i kanolaolje eller maisolje påvirket med CaOH, MgOH, NaOH og lignende.
