Abstract

En fremgangsmåte er tilveiebrakt for tetning av et ringrom (7) mellom et ekspanderbart rørelement (6) anordnet i et borehull og en vegg som omslutter det ekspanderbare rørelement, hvorved en trykkforskjell oppstår mellom en første plassering i ringrommet og en andre plassering i ringrommet aksialt i avstand fra den første plassering. Fremgangsmåten omfatter: installere rørelementet (6) i borehullet, plassere et fluidlegeme (10) i ringrømmet (7) mellom første og andre plasseringer, idet fluidet har en strekkgrense som velges slik at trykkforskjellen blir utilstrekkelig for å bevirke en aksial strøm av fluidlegemet i ringrommet (7) etter den radiale ekspansjon av rørelementet (S), og radialt ekspandere rørelementet (6).
