Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for dehydratisering av gasser omfattende: absorpsjon av vanndamp ved hjelp av en hygroskopisk væske som i alt vesentlig består av en eller flere C2-C8 glykoler og et tilsetningsstoff som er istand til å danne en minimum type azeotrop med vann; destillasjon av glykol/vann/tilsetningsstoff-blandingen for å oppnå et topprodukt bestående hovedsakelig av den azeotrope blanding av vann/tilsetningsstoff og et bunnprodukt bestående hovedsakelig av glykol og tilsetningsstoff (hygroskopisk væske); og resirkulering av den regenererte hygroskopiske væsken til absorpsjonstrinnet.
