Abstract
Det er beskrevet en superledende kabel hvor varmeisolasjonens ytelse kan forbedres ved hjelp av et varmeisolerende rør, slik at en minste varmeisolerende ytelse for det varmeisolerende rør kan opprettholdes selv om en ytre del av det varmeisolerende rør brister under transport. Et varmeisolerende rør (2) hvor en kabelkjerne (3) for en superledende kabel (1) mottas, har et første metallrør (21), et andre metallrør (22) og et tredje metallrør (23) ordnet i denne rekkefølge radialt fra innersiden av det varmeisolerende rør, Et varmeisolerende parti (5) er dannet mellom det første metallrør (21) og det andre metallrør (22), mens et ytre varmeisolerende parti (7) er dannet innenfor det tredje metallrør (23), utenpå det indre varmeisolerende parti (5). Det ytre varmeisolerende partis varmeisolerende ytelse er innstilt til å være lavere enn den for det indre varmeisolerende parti.
