Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en fremgangsmåte for å bekrefte leveringen av en datapakke i et maskenett ved å sende en bekreftelse (ACK) til et innløpsmaskepunkt (IMP). Et maskenett iimbefiatter et mangfold maskepunkter som er koblet sammen på tiådløst vis. En datapakke sendt fra en stasjon (STA) mottas av et IMP. En MAC ramme genereres for utsendelse av datapakken og rammen videresendes til et utiøpsmaskepunkt (EMP) fior å tilveiebringe en tjeneste ved hjelp av maskenettet. MAC-rammen inkluderer et fielt som iimbefiatter en IMP-adresse og en EMP-adresse. Når denne EMP (eller etter valg et mellomliggende maskepunkt) mottar en datapakke på vellykket måte, sender denne EMP eller det mellomliggende maskepunktet en ACK til IMP eller et fiorutgående maskepunkt.
