Abstract
La presente se refiere a un método para confirmar la entrega e un paquete de datos en una red de malla, enviando una confirmacion (ACK) a un punto de malla de ingreso (IMP). Una red de malla comprende una pluralidad de puntos de malla que están unidos inalámbricamente. Un paquete de datos enviado por una estacion (STA) es recibido por un IMP. Se genera una trama de MAC para transmitir el paquete de datos y se reenvía la trama a un punto de malla de egreso (EMP) con el fin de prestar un servicio por medio de la red de malla. La trama de MAC incluye un campo que comprende una direccion IMP y una direccion EMP. Cuando el EMP, (u, opcionalmente, un punto de malla intermedio), recibe con éxito un paquete de datos, el EMP o el punto de malla intermedio envía una ACK al IMP o al punto de malla precedente.
