Abstract
Det er beskrevet en fremgangsmåte for behandling av avfall, spesielt fra produksjonen av mineralfibere, så som fiberglassull eller steinullfibere assosiert med organiske bindemidler og eventuelt med vann eller annet metall og/eller organisk materiale bestående i smelting av en avfallsmasse (9) ved å tilføre rent oksygen eller en oksygenanriket luft for å oppnå et mineralmateriale som er anvendelig i form av et viskøst råmateriale for glassmelting og ved å tilføre energi ved hjelp av minst en brenner neddykket under avfallsmaterialet (9). Det er også beskrevet en innretning for utførelse av nevnte fremgangsmåte.
