Abstract
Et aspekt ved oppfinnelsen gjelder en fremgangsmåte (1 0) for karakterisering av en brønn (700) ved bruk av distribuerte temperatursensor(DTS)-data for å optimalisere en brønnmodell (12). Fremgangsmåten omfatter tilveiebringelse av en brønnmodell av strømnings- og varmeegenskaper (12a, 12b) hos brønnen (700), hvor brønnmodellen (12) har en flerhet av justerbare, fysiske parametere, tilveiebringelse av et datasett som består av en flerhet av DTS-profiler av brønnen (700) tatt ved ulike tidspunkter under drift av brønnen (700), og kjøring av brønnmodellen (12) med ulike kombinasjoner av flerheten av justerbare, fysiske parametere for å tilpasse flerheten av DTS-temperatur-profiler. DTS-profilene kan også forbehandles for å bringe dem i samsvar med hverandre.
