Abstract
Fremgangsmåte som gjør det mulig å predikere petrofysiske egenskaper ved et undergrunnsreservoar ved å konstruere en geologisk modell som er konsistent med seismiske målinger. - En geologisk dybdemodell konstrueres basert på hvilken seismiske data simuleres som funksjon av dyp. Nevnte geologiske modell gjøres konsistent med seismiske målinger gjort som funksjon av tid ved å minimere en målfunksjon ved å sammenlikne disse seismiske målingene med seismiske data simulert basert på den geologiske modellen og regnet om til tid. Under minimering blir intervallhastighetene som anvendes ved omregningen oppdatert ved å sammenlikne, i nevnte målfunksjon, et observert tidsintervall ?T obsm,n mellom to markører med et tidsintervall ?T simm,n simulert fra de seismiske dataene, og ved å modifisere simuleringsparametere så som feilen i den estimerte avstanden mellom de to markørene. - Anvendelse: optimering av oljereservoarutvikling.
