Abstract
Vandig viskoelastisk fluid gelatinert med en viskoelastisk surfaktant (VES) er stabilisert og forbedret med en effektiv mengde av et jordalkalimetalloksid og/eller jordalkalimetallhydroksid. Disse fluidene er mer stabile og har redusert eller ingen tendens til å felles ut, spesielt ved forhøyede temperaturer. Additivene kan også øke viskositeten til det punkt hvor mindre VES er krevet for å opprettholde en gitt viskositet.
