Abstract

En gassmotor, særlig gass-Ottomotor for forbrenning av en gassformig brennstoffluftblanding med minst én tenningsinnretning som rager inn i et brennrom eller inn i et forkammerrom for tenning av den gassformige brennstoffluftblanding. Ifølge oppfinnelsen omfatter tenningsinnretningen eller hver tenningsinnretning (11) en varmeinnretning (12) som tjener som tenningskilde, hvor en opptaksinnretning (13) atskiller varmeinnretningen (12) fra brennstoffluftsblandingen som skal tennes, og hvor varmeinnretningen (12) oppvarmer et avsnitt (14) av den aktuelle opptaksinnretning (13) som er i kontakt med brennstoffluftsblandingen som skal tennes på en slik måte at dette avsnitt (14) av opptaksinnretningen (13) får en temperatur som er nødvendig for tenning av brennstoffluftsblandingen.
