Abstract

Et system for seismisk undersøkelse av en neddykket undergrunn innbefatter et antall baser (4) anordnet på forhåndsbestemte steder på sjøbunnen. Hver base har en avlang stamme som penetrerer sjøbunnen, minst én seismisk sensor (10, 12) i stammen, og en radielt utragende støttesone (19) forbundet med stammens øvre ende, samt en respektiv av et antall moduler (6) som hver inneholder en datalagringsenhet og en energikilde. Modulen forbindes mekanisk og elektrisk med stammens øvre ende. Modulen kan kobles til og løskobles fra basen ved hjelp av en undervannsfarkost.
