Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fiberoptisk seismisk sensor (200) med et testlegeme (110) som er karakterisert ved at testlegemet (110) omfatter flere separate vulstlegemer (113, 114, 115, 116) som er fordelt rundt retningen av den følsomme aksen til sensoren og to stjerneformede elementer (120, 130) som er plassert på hver side av vulstlegemene (113, 114, 115, 116) og som mekanisk binder nevnte vulstlegemer (113, 114, 115, 116) sammen.
