En søylebelysningsinnretning (1) bestående av en understøttende struktur eller søyle (2), hvori det i den øvre del av søylen (2) er en lyskilde (4), plassert i et hus (3) lateralt omgitt av en skjerm (6) som tillater passasje av lys, og omgitt over av et deksel (5), idet en lysemitterende ("lyspære") (7) i den nevnte lyskilde (4) er posisjonert høyere opp i forhold til nevnte lyspassasjeskjerm (6), idet det i søyle-belysningsinnretningen (1) der er en enkelt reflektorskjerm (9), eventuelt oppnådd ved hjelp av en serie av tilstøtende reflektorelementer, hvis lysreflekterende overflate har en sentral del situert over den lysemitterende lyspære (7) og omkretsdelene befinner seg i en mindre høyde i forhold til høyden av den nedre ende av den lysemitterende pære (7).
