Abstract

Digitale multimedia innbefatter intrarammeinformasjon og interrammeinformasjon. I tillegg til å sende separate komplette intrarammer som refereres ved interrammer vil enkelte interrammer av hybridtype inneholde delvis intrarammeinformasjon, slik at hvis en fullstendig intraramme mistes vil referanseinterrammer kunne få frem minst noe intrarammeinformasjon fra hybridrammene. (Fig. 3)
