Abstract

En apparatur (200) for motstrøms å bringe en gass og nedadstrømmende faste partikler i kontakt, omfatter et hus (205) og mange ledeplater (100) anordnet inne i huset. Ledeplatene er anordnet i minst første og andre nivåer med vertikale mellomrom i suksessivt lavere posisjon, idet hver av de første og andre nivåene omfatter en rekke på minst to ledeplater orientert parallelt til hverandre og skrånende fra horisontalt slik at det fremmer bevegelse av de faste partiklene og tilveiebringer maksimalt område for strømmen. Ledeplater er orientert slik at de fører til lateralt skifte av retningen av nedadstrømmende partikler på tvers ettersom partiklene beveger seg fra ett nivå til det neste lavere nivået, og kanalisering av fasene unngås. Antall ledeplater, lengden og mellomrommet optimaliseres for å tilveiebringe maksimalt grenseflateareale for vekselvirkning mellom fasene.
