Abstract

Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte og en anordning for samtidig og med det samme utstyr å evaluere fysiske parameter som f.eks. absolutt permeabilitet og porøsitet, av fragmenter hentet fra en fragmentert naturlig eller kunstig porøs omgivelse. Oppfinnelsen består i å måle porøsiteten av fragmentene med heliumtrykktester i samsvar med en i og for seg kjent forskrift. Beholderen (1) som inneholder fragmentene kommuniseres med et reservoar (11) med likeledes i og for seg kjent volum, inneholdende helium under trykk kjent i og for seg. Fra likevekten av trykkene kan utledes verdien av faststoffvolumet. Bergartsomslutningsvolumet (pakkevolumet, bulkvolumet) og massen av fragmenter måles også.. Ved å kombinere disse målinger bestemmes porøsiteten av prøvene så vel som bergartsdensiteten. Deretter måles deres permeabilitet ved å neddykke dem i et viskøst fluid og beholderen kommuniseres med det viskøse fluid under spesifikt trykk inneholdt i en beholder (9) slik at gassen innesluttet i porene av bergarten komprimeres, i samsvar med to forskjellige forskrifter. Ved å modellere utviklingen av trykket eller volumet i beholderen og ved iterativ justering bestemmes verdiene av de fysiske parametere. Oppfinnelsen er f.eks. anvendbar for petrofysiske målinger fra borekaks eller knuste kjerner.
