Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse omhandler en fremgangsmåte for å gjenvinne overflateaktive aminer fra en emulsjon omfattende saltet av aminet omfattende (a) kontakte et emulsjonssjikt eller fase inneholdende overflateaktivt aminsalt med en syre valgt fra gruppen bestående av mineralsyrer eller karbondioksid i en mengde tilstrekkelig og under betingelser for å fremstille et aminsalt av mineralsyren eller et amin-bikarbonat, hvori det overflateaktive aminsaltet blir frem-stilt via emulsjonsfraksjonering med det overflateaktive aminet (b) separere en øvre fase og en nedre vandig fase; (c) tilsette en uorganisk base til den nedre vandige fasen, hvis trinn (a) benytter en mineralsyre, eller varme ved en temperatur og over et tidsrom tilstrekkelig hvis trinn (a) benytter karbondioksid, til å heve pH i den vandige fasen til høyere enn eller lik 8; (d) blåse gass gjennom den vandige fasen for å danne et skum inneholdende det overflateaktive aminet; (e) gjenvinne skummet inneholdende det overflateaktive aminet.
