Description
I f.eks.
atom, r er et helt tall fra 1 til 4, og p er et helt tall fra 0 til 4, forutsatt at R<*> og a er slik at det er et gjennomsnitt på minst 8 alifatiske karbonatomer tilveiebragt av R<*->gruppene;

US patenter 3.804.763 og 3.948.800 beskriver slike polyoksy-alkylenpolyamin-reaktanter.
Slike polyaminer er beskrevet i detalj under tittelen "Diamines and Higher Amines" i The Encyclopedia of Chemical Technology, Second Edition, Kirk and Othmer, volum 7, sider 27-39, Intercience Publishers, Division of John Wiley and Sons, 1965.

Andre patenter som spesielt beskriver teknikker for fremstilling av basiske salter av de ovenfor beskrevne sulfonsyrer, karboksylsyrer og blandinger av en hvilken som helst to eller flere av disse, innbefatter US patenter 2.501.731; 2.616.904; 2.616.905; 2.616.906; 2.616.911; 2.616.924; 2.616.925; 2.617.049; 2.777.874; 3.027.325; 3.256.186; 3.282.835;
