Omstyringsventil. Bypass valve.

Nærværende oppfinnelse vedrører en omstyringsventil hvormed en fluidumstrøm og fortrinnsvis da en gasstrøm kan omsty-res. Ventilen ifølge oppfinnelsen kan med fordel anvendes for slike anlegg som f. eks. ekshaustoppvarmede dampkjeler ombord i fartøyer eller stasjonære anlegg. Særlig tar oppfinnelsen sikte på anvendelse for anlegg av den type hvor ekshaustgassen fra en eller flere forbrenningsmotorer ved hjelp av denne vekselventil valgfritt kan dirigeres til fri luft, eventuelt gjennom en lyddemper eller til en vannrørskjele for utnyttelse av ekshaustgassens varmeinn-hold.
