Description

Vrimaskin for oppvrining av gulvvaskekluter. Twisting machine for twisting up floor cleaning cloths.

The present invention relates to a twisting machine of the kind intended for twisting floor cleaning cloths, where the twisting takes place by means of rotatable twisting rollers, which are stored in the upper part of a box with an internal water container.

The main characteristic of the invention is that the twisting rollers are segment-shaped, as the design of the segments and the largest transverse dimension are chosen in such a way that in a certain angular position the twisting rollers cover most of the width of the twisting machine container, while in another angular position an opening is formed between the rollers with access to the water in the container.

Oppfinnelsen er anskueliggjort i fig. 1—9 på hosstående tegninger. The invention is illustrated in fig. 1-9 on accompanying drawings.

4 viser maskinen sett bakfra. Fig. 1 og 4 viser utgangsstillingen, mens fig. Fig. 1, 2 and 3 show the machine seen from the left end and fig. 4 shows the machine seen from behind. Fig. 1 and 4 show the starting position, while fig. 2 and 3 show positions that can be taken when the machine is in use. The shaded circles in fig. 1 shows shafts that are fixed but rotatably stored in the machine's cargo. All parts that are adapted to these are attached to the same.

I fig. I fig. 1 and 4 are the same parts numbered with the same number. In addition, fig. 4 parts, which are located at the right end of the machine and which are similar and have the same function as corresponding parts at the left end of the same number. In fig. 1 denotes 1 the box, which consists of two symmetrically equal shields (one at each end), to which the necessary bosses which form bearings for the machine's axles are fixed or molded on the inside. These shields form the ends of the box. An intermediate attached bent plate forms the bottom, sides and lid. The checkout has one

åpning i lokket som gir adgang til vrivalsene 2 og 3 og vannet i vannbeholderen. opening in the lid that gives access to the turning rollers 2 and 3 and the water in the water container.

I en åpning i forsiden kan vannbeholderen 35 settes inn. In an opening in the front, the water container 35 can be inserted.

The box, which thus forms the exterior of the machine and is the carrier for the mechanism and the water container, is also provided with two transport wheels 41 and two feet 42 and a carrying handle 40 as well as a device for attaching the broom handle (in Fig. 5 shown as a recess 60 in whose edge a hook on the broom handle can be attached), so that the broom handle can be used as a steering handle during transport of the machine. 2 denotes a fixed turning roller, to which the gear wheel 32 is attached rotatably stored in the machine's stock. 3 is a displaceable turning roller, to which the toothed wheel 32' and the sprocket 48 are attached. 4 denotes a pedal arm, to which the arms 5 and C are attached. The pedal arm revolves around the pin 7. The pedal is denoted by 8.

Omkring valsen 12 dreier seg kjeden 9 is a riser, which swings about the bolt 10. It is extended at the top with the leaf spring 29, which ends at the top in the bearing 30, in which the pushable turning roller is stored. The riser 9 carries the pin 11, on which is placed the roller 12, the freewheel, part of which is visible, and the sprocket 13 which also forms the freewheel's ring gear. The freewheel's locking hooks are attached to the aforementioned roller 12. The chain revolves around the roller 12

Approximately in the middle of the riser 9, the joint 19 is rotatably attached to this by means of the bolt 20. The arm 21 is again rotatably attached to the joint 19 by the bolt 22, and finally the arm 21 is attached to the shaft 23, which is rotatably stored at both ends in the machine's shield. This shaft also transmits the movement to corresponding parts 21, 19, 9, 29 and 30 at the opposite end of the case (see Fig. 4), The weight rod 24 is also attached to the shaft 23, and the rod 25 is rotatably attached to 24 by means of the bolt 26. The latter rod is rotatably attached to the growth pin 6 by the bolt 27 and displaceable in the slot 28. 34 denotes an air or liquid shock absorber, which by means of the crank pin 31 is connected to the shaft 23. Inside the water container is a projection 36 , which serves to support the diet during transport. 37 is a plate attached to the water container with the handle 38. 39 is the water container's carrying handle. 43 shows the washing broom with the attached washing cloth 44.

Fig. 6 shows the left end of the machine seen from above, the construction of the left foot and a construction detail of the pedal. The left foot is constructed in such a way that it sits on a vertical pin, which goes up into its bearing at the bottom of the box. When the machine is to be used, the foot can be swung out to the position as shown at a (fig. 6). Otherwise, it can be swung in as shown by the dotted line b.

The device serves to support the machine's center of gravity when the pedal is depressed and for the machine (the foot) to take up less space when it is not in use. As shown by the dotted line d, the pedal can also be engaged from c when the machine is not in use. These details are not included in the main figure.

Maskinen virker på følgende måte: The machine works in the following way:

A) Fig. 1 shows the starting position, which is the position that the mechanism will normally have when the machine is left to itself.

Derved blir vaskekluten presset og drevet opp-over. Spiralfjæren 47 vil trekke The broom with the washcloth is kept away from the fixed twist roller. When the pedal 8 is pressed all the way down, the pedal arm and the associated weight bars 5 and 6 will rotate around the pin 7 and assume the position as shown in fig. 3. Underneath, the pin 27 will pull the rod 25 with it, so that the crank pin 24 will be affected and thereby turn the shaft 23 around. Hereby, the arm 21 attached to the axle and the link 19 will straighten out and remain in each other's longitudinal direction (also shown in Fig. 3). The riser 9 with the leaf spring 29 and bearing 30 and thus the pivot 3 is pushed over to the left. The rotary rollers thereby come into contact with each other. The gears 32 and 32' will mesh with each other, and the mechanism will assume the position as shown in fig. 3. The shaft 23 transmits the movement to corresponding joints and uprights with accessories at the opposite end of the machine. B) Release the pedal to the position as shown in fig. 2, or an intermediate position, the aforementioned joints, risers and associated mechanism will not be affected due to the gap 28, but will remain in the same position (fig. 2). The chain 14, on the other hand, will be relaxed. The spiral spring 18 will thereby turn the pin 11, the roller 12 and the freewheel's locking hooks to the left. C) If the pedal is pressed down again, the chain 14 will turn the roller to the right. The freewheel's locking hooks take hold and the movement will be transferred to the turning roller 3 over the sprocket 13, the chain 16 and the sprocket 17, which is driven around. The force of the rotary roller 2 is transmitted by the gears 32' and 32. Thereby the washcloth is pressed and driven upwards. Processes B and C can now be repeated as desired until the cloth has come all the way up. D) If the pedal is released completely, the coil spring 46 together with the coil spring 18 will pull the pedal to position, shown by dashed lines 2, which is the starting position. The bolt 27 will thereby collide with the rod 25 at the right end of the slot 28. The rod will thereby be affected and will push joints 21 and 19 out of lock. The coil spring 47 will pull

Under dette vil krumtappen 31 drive støtdemperens 34 stempel nedover slik at fjærens 46 spennkraft motvirkes så at mekanismen går sakte tilbake. the riser with accessories, the link and thereby also the rod 25 back to the starting position. During this, the crank pin 31 will drive the piston of the shock absorber 34 downwards so that the tension force of the spring 46 is counteracted so that the mechanism goes back slowly.

The following things are important with the described twisting machine: The case and its construction, which means that the machine has a smooth and neat cleanable surface, and that the machine also thereby has a rigid and light construction.

The displaceable roller's suspension device, which swings around the bolts 10, enables the roller to move easily and silently.

The arrangement of sprockets and chains, which means that the rollers do not turn around until the rollers are in contact with each other. This means that the cloth does not easily get out of shape when wringing out.

That the pedal can be moved all the way from the starting position and all the way down to bring the rollers together. This means that the pedal has to travel a long way and that you thereby get a lot of force to compress the rollers.

Støtdemperen gjør at valsene går sakte The shock absorber makes the rollers move slowly

og lydløst tilbake. and silently back.

7. The water container and the arrangement of their handles, so that it can be easily pulled out like a drawer, carried and emptied as shown in fig. 7.

The principle that the mop handle can be used as a control handle when the machine is to be rolled (fig. 5), which is made possible by the transport wheels and their placement and the fold 36 attached or pressed on the inside of the water container and the fixing device placed at 60.

The principle of the feet, which means that the machine will not slide or roll across the floor when the machine is used.

Fig. 9 viser valsene i arbeidstil-ling. 1—7. However, the mainly characteristic embodiment of the invention is shown in fig. 8 and 9. The machine is intended here to have the same external shape and other accessories as described above. However, the shafts of the turning rollers are here rotatable and fixedly stored in the machine's goods, and the necessary opening (shown by arrow a in fig. 8), which forms access to the water in the water container, is formed here by the rollers having an eccentric shape as shown at 1 and 2 in fig. 8. The pedal arm 3 is also here outside the case, while the arm 4, which is firmly connected to the pin 5, as well as the other movement mechanism is in the same place as the first described mechanism. To the arm 4, the chain 6 is attached. The chain drives the sprocket 7 which, via the freewheel mechanism 8, transfers the force to the bolt 9 which is fixed in the torsion shaft 2 and drives this round when the pedal is pressed down. The lower position of the pedal is shown by dotted lines. As the moving parts are adjusted so that the rollers are driven once around when the pedal is moved from the starting position and all the way down, the rollers will then also be in the same position as the starting position as fig. 8 shows. The unattached end of the chain is extended by a spring that pulls the chain, sprocket, freewheel and pedal back when the pedal is released. 11 and 12x two identical gears, which are attached to the rollers at their other end and which cause both rollers to rotate at the same speed. The disc 13, which has the recess 15, is fixed on the roller 1. This, together with the hook 14, will hold the rollers in the starting position. Fig. 9 shows the rollers in working position. The rollers are also set in this position when the broom is to be used as a steering handle when the machine is to be transported. The roller 1 then provides support for the lower end of the broom, while the upper attachment for the broom handle takes place in the same way as shown in fig. 1—7. When the water container is to be pulled out, place the rollers with the flat side down.
