Description
Fremgangsmåte til fremstilling .av kondenserte alkalifosfater.
Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte til fremstilling av kondenserte alkalifosfater, spesielt av pyro- og tripolyfos-fater fra fosfatoppløsninger, som fremstilles på kjent måte av fosforsyre som er fremstilt ved våtoppslutning av råfosfater, renset og nøytralisert inntil det til sluttproduktene tilsvarende alkali-oksyd/P20^-forhold.
Det er allerede kjent fra de nevnte fosfatoppløs-ninger å fremstille kondenserte alkalifosfater, idet man først for-støver oppløsningen i et første trinn, og overfører det derved dannede kalsinerte produkt deretter ved lengere temperering ved forhøyet temperatur i et annet trinn til det ønskede produkt. Disse fremgangsmåter h»r den ulempe at de forløper i flere trinn og krever lange reaksjonstider, hvilket virker ugunstig på romtidsutbyttene.
Det er videre kjent å forstøve slike fosfatoppløs-ninger i ett eneste trinn i et forstøvningstårn, fosfatoppløsningen fåes ved nøytralisering av fosforsyrer som fremstilles av fosfor fremstilt på elektrotermisk måte. Slike fosforsyrer utmerker seg ved en meget stor renhet, spesielt også når det gjelder deres innhold av fluor.
I motsetning hertil har fosforsyrer som fåes i den såkalte "våtoppslutningsfremgangsmåte", dvs. ved oppslutning av råfosfater med sterke mineralsyrer, fortrinnsvis svovelsyre, et stort antall forurensninger.
Slike våtoppslutningsfremgangsmåter er f.eks. be-skrevet i U.S. patent nr. 2.95O.I7I, belgisk patent nr. 621.425»britisk patent nr. yij.& jl, de franske patenter nr.Ll8l.i5O og I.294.872 såvel som i tysk patent nr. I.O27.647.
Forurensningene må fjernes når syrene skal finne an-vendelse til fremstilling av rene fosfater. Dette foregår på kjent måte i flere trinn. Først blir, ved delvis nøytralisering av fosforsyren, det i form av silisiumfluorid foreliggende fluor, og deretter sulfatet og arsen enten utfelt ved tilsetning av BaS eller en blanding av BaS og BaCO^, derpå utskilles ved forutgående nøytralisering av fosforsyren, forurensningene av metallene som jern, aluminium, krom og vanadium. Rensningsfremgangsmåter av denne type er omtalt i for-skjellige patenter som f.eks. U.S. patenter nr. 2.044*940»2.O8I.35I»2.I74.I58, 2.883.266, i fransk patent nr.1.334.533 såvel som i tysk patent nr. 72I.4IO.
Fosfatoppløsninger dannet ved slike fremgangsmåter inneholder, på tross av den forutgående rensning, ennå betraktelige fluormengder. De ble, av denne grunn, tidligere ikke anvendt i en ettbunnsforstøvnings-tørkningsprosess, når det var ønskelig med stor renhet av sluttprodukter, f.eks. ved fremstilling av kondenserte alkalifosfater, som f.eks. natriumtripolyfosfat for vaskemiddelindu-strien. Det er riktignok allerede foreslått å danne ortofosfater fra nøytralisert, våt fosforsyre i et forstøvningstårn, imidlertid er det ikke sagt noe om reaksjonsbetingelsene og unngåelse av de for-styrrende fluorforbindelser. Det er heller for å unngå disse fluor-forurensninger fra fosfatoppløsningene av våt fosforsyre foreslått meget omstendeligere måter eksempelvis å føre varme forbrennings-gasser og samtidig vanndamp gjennom oppløsningene. Imidlertid er denne arbeidsmåte omstendelig, og tidsberøvende og fører bare til en helt utilstrekkelig og forholdsvis minimal avfluoriseringseffekt.
Kondenserte fosfater som fremstilles i ett-trinns-forstøvnings-tørkeprosesser fra de nevnte oppløsninger under over-holdelse av bestemte driftsbetingelser, f.eks. ifølge DAS 1.097*421, har et betraktelig lavere fluorinnhold enn utgangsoppløsningene. Den følgende tabell viser fluoridinnholdet i ppm og beregnet på PgOpjav fosfater, og hver gang like oppløsninger men med forskjellig fluorinnhold, idet oppløsningen i et tilfelle er inndampet og i et annet er forstøvet ifølge en ett-trinnsfremgangsmåte:
Oppfinnelsen vedrører altså en fremgangsmåte til fremstilling av kondenserte alkalifosfater, spesielt pyro- og polyfosfater fra fosfatoppløsninger som i en entrinns fremgangsmåte for-støves i et forstøvningstårn, idet temperaturene i forstøvnings-tårnet velges således at avgassens temperatur ligger over 300°C > fortrinnsvis mellom 340 og 420°C og videre opprettholdes i for-støvningstårnets avgass et fuktighetsinnhold fra 150 til 400 g vann pr. kg avgass, og fremgangsmåten erkarakterisert vedat det anvendes fosfatoppløsninger som er fremstilt av ved våtoppslutning av råfosfater utvunnet, renset og inntil til sluttproduktene tilsvarende alkalioksyd/PgO^-forhold nøytralisert fosforsyre og har innhold av fluor på 100 - 5000 ppm, spesielt 300 - 45OO ppm, referert til
Fordelen ved den nye fremgangsmåte i forhold til de kjente arbeidsmåter består i at det fra fosfatoppløsninger som har et relativt høyt fluorinnhold i en ett-trinnsforstøvningsfremgangs-måte, kan fremstilles rene kondenserte fosfater med gunstige romtids-utbytter.
Oppfinnelsen skal i det følgende forklares nærmere ved hjelp av noen ikke begrensende eksempler.
Eksempel 1.
100 kg våt fosforsyre, fremstilt ved omsetning av kalsinert marokkofosfat med svovelsyre, ble blandet med 12 kg 50^-ig natronlut og 4i5kS teknisk bariumsulfid, utfellingen adskilt ved hjelp av en filterpresse, og filtratet nøytralisert med 60 kg 50%-ig natronlut til trinnet for dinatriumfosfat. Det ble filtrert fra de
derved utfelte metallfosfater. Filtratet av følgende innhold av PpOcog forurensninger nemlig i form av deres ioner:
Av denne oppløsning med et faststoffinnhold på 45 vektprosent ble l80 1 forstøvet med 60 kg vanndamp pr. time i et forstøvningstårn, ifølge den fremgangsmåte som er angitt i tysk patent nr.1.018.394* Tårnet ble da oppvarmet med 40 m^ lysgass og 200 m<J>luft pr. time. Fra forstøvningstårnet ble det pr. time ført bort 65O m^ avgass med en temperatur på 385°C. Som sluttprodukt ble det pr. time dannet 91 kg Na5*>3^10 med et innn°ld av fluor på 10 ppm. Eksempel 2.
100 kg våt fosforsyre, fremstilt ved omsetning av ukalsinert floridafosfat med svovelsyre, ble blandet med 8 kg 50%-ig natronlut, 3 kg natriumsulfid og 313kS bariumkarbonat. Etter å ha adskilt utfellingen, ble det til oppløsningen satt 60 kg 50%-ig natronlut. Det dannede filtrat har etter frafiltrering av fosfatutfellingen følgende sammensetning av PpOc og forurensninger:
Av dette filtrat med et faststoffinnhold på 57 vektprosent, ble l80 1 forstøvet med 60 kg vanndamp pr. time i et for-støvningstårn, ifølge den fremgangsmåte som er angitt i tysk patent nr. 1.018.394* Herved ble tårnet oppvarmet pr. time med j6 m^ lysgass og l80 m^ luft. Fra forstøvningstårnet ble det pr. time bortført 500 m avgass med en temperatur på 415°C Som sluttprodukt ble det pr. time dannet et 123 kg ^a5^3^10mec* et innn°ld av fluor på 25 ppm.
Eksempel 3*
100 kg våt fosforsyre, fremstilt ved reaksjon av kolafosfat med svovelsyre, ble omsatt med 16 kg 50%-ig natronlut og
4 kg bariumsulfid, og utfellingen adskilt ved hjelp av en filterpresse. Filtratet Ile nøytralisert med 60 kg 50%-ig natronlut, og de derved utfelte metallfosfater fra-filtrert. Den derved dannede oppløsning har med hensyn til P20^°g forurensninger følgende sammensetning:
Av dette filtrat med et faststoffinnhold på 50 vektprosent, ble l80 1 forstøvet med 450 m^ pressluft pr. time, idet for-støvningstårnet ble oppvarmet med 40 m^ lysgass og 200 m^ luft. Fra tårnet ble det pr. time ført bort 85O m^ avgass, med en temperatur på 400°C. Som sluttprodukt ble det pr. time dannet 108 kg Na^PgO^med et innhold av fluor på 18 ppm.
Claims (3)
1. Fremgangsmåte til fremstilling av kondenserte alkalifosfater, spesielt pyro- og polyfosfater fra fosfatoppløsninger som i en entrinns fremgangsmåte forstøves i et forstøvningstårn, idet temperaturene i forstøvningstårnet velges således at avgassens temperatur ligger over 300°C, fortrinnsvis mellom 340 og 420°C og videre opprettholdes i forstøvningstårnets avgass et fuktighetsinnhold fra 150 til 400 g vann pr. kg avgass, karakterisert ved at det anvendes fosfatoppløsninger som er fremstilt av ved våtoppslutning av råfosfater utvunnet, renset og inntil til sluttproduktene tilsvarende alkalioksyd/PgO^ -forhold nøytralisert fosforsyre og har innhold av f^uor på 100 - 5000 ppm, spesielt 300 - 45OO ppm, referert til PgO^ .
2. Fremgangsmåte ifølge krav 1, karakterisert ved at det i forstøvningstårnets avgass opprettholdes et fuktighetsinnhold fra 200 til 300 g vann pr. kg avgass.
3. Fremgangsmåte ifølge krav 1, karakterisert ved at utgangsoppløsningens faststoffinnhold utgjør mellom 40 og 70 vektprosent, fortrinnsvis ca. 50 vektprosent.
