Description

Fremgangsmåte for kontinuerlig anbringelse av en isolasjonskappe på et rør.
Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en fremgangsmåte for kontinuerlig anbringelse av en
isolasjonskappe på rør som beveges i aksial
retning.
Den oppgave på en praktisk og økonomisk
måte å fremstille ferdige rørprodukter med iso-lasjon anbragt på rørene er av meget gammel
dato, men hittil er det ikke fremkommet noen
metode som kan ansees å danne en definitiv løs-ning av oppgaven, i det minste ikke når det gjel-der en kontinuerlig fabrikasjonsprosess med ut-nyttelse av minst mulig manuell arbeidsinnsats.
Som følge derav har det ved isolering av
rør, eksempelvis rør som skal brukes i kaldt-vanns-, varmtvanns- eller sentraloppvarmings-anlegg, vært nødvendig å beholde den relativt
omstendelige fremgangsmåte som består i om-vikling eller omhylling av rørene manuelt på
monteringsstedet med forskjellige hittil kjente
isolerende materialer, f. eks. plater, papp, papir, tøy, glassull, stenull og lignende.
For å søke å lette isoleringsarbeidet er det dog i den senere tid også foreslått å isolere med ferdige, halvsirkulære isoleringsskåler av plast, kork eller annet sammenhengende material som festes rundt rørene på monteringsstedet.
Utviklingen krever imidlertid stadig mer og mer at isoleringsarbeidet utføres på fabrikk slik at ferdigisolerte rør fremstilles i lange lengder, som kan leveres i viklede ringer eller rette lengder direkte til forbrukssteder hvor de kan mon-teres direkte på samme måte som ikke-isolerte rør, men derimot ikke krever etterfølgende kost-bart arbeide for isoleringen.
Formålet for oppfinnelsen er følgelig kontinuerlig og maskinelt å kle rørene med en isolasjonskappe som holdes fast på disse og som uten å deformeres eller briste kan tilpasse seg etter de bøyninger som det innvendige rør kan komme til å utsettes for ved monteringen på oppsetningsstedet.
Dette oppnås i henhold til oppfinnelsen, som går ut på kontinuerlig anbringelse av en isolasjonskappe i form av lange isolasjonsmatter av mineralull, særlig glassull, på et rør som beveges frem i aksial retning, som karakterise-res ved en kombinasjon av følgende trekk: a) at rør og isolasjonsmatter føres på i og for seg kjent måte i lengderetningen gjennom en traktformet matrise som på i og for seg kjent måte trykker sammen isolasjonsmate-rialet og legger det rundt røret, og
b) at isolasjonsmattene ved utløpet fra matri-sen på i og for seg kjent måte omvikles og
fikseres med et båndformet material.
Ved hjelp av foreliggende oppfinnelse oppnås det tekniske fremskritt, at det er mulig å utnytte de gode isolerende egenskaper i mineralull, særlig glassull, og at isoleringen med disse materialer kan oppnås på en økonomisk fordel-aktig måte.

Claims (1)

1. Fremgangsmåte for kontinuerlig anbringelse av en isolasjonskappe i form av lange isolasjonsmatter av mineralull, særlig glassull, på et rør som beveges frem i aksial retning,karakterisert vedkombinasjonen av følgende trekk: a) at rør og isolasjonsmatter føres på i og for seg kjent måte i lengderetningen gjennom en traktformet matrise som på i og for seg kjent måte trykker sammen isolasjonsmate-rialet og legger det rundt røret, og b) at isolåsjonsmattene ved utløpet fra matri-sen på i og for seg kjent måte omvikles og fikseres med et båndformet material.
